The torture is over

There’s not much to recap from this season. The bright spots being 2 rookies in Malik Nabers and Tyron Tracy. They’re good and there’s nothing more on this team to be positive about. It’s now time to dream about the future which would’ve been brighter if we didn’t win a meaningless game against the Colts, but I do understand players play to win. A few options at QB can be in play whether it’s a known veteran in Kirk Cousins or possibly putting a deal together for JJ McCarthy. It’s hard not to believe the future will be better since it can’t get much worse than this, literally this was a record breaking bad season for the Giants. We’re onto 2025!

Euro trip

my positivity has ended. This Germany game has been one frustration after another. Penalties after penalties every week is on Daboll and at this point he’s lost the team. Better players might be able to disguise bad coaching but bad player and bad coaching is just not a good combination. writing this as the stupid flea flicker happened -NYGspot

Staying positive

It’s been a tough week digesting the loss against the Cowboys. We probably played the most competitive game against them that I can remember in a long time and that’s without scoring a touchdown. The offense runs through Malik which is why he was drafted but we cant expect to win with Jones throwing it that many times it’s just not who we are. Singletary has to step up and hold onto the ball and the other wide receivers need to actually catch balls thrown there way. The defense also needs to step up. Dexter, Kayvon, and Burns all need to get to the QB and it’s just not happening at the rate you’d expect out of these guys. Also this bend don’t break defense keeps breaking. I doubt it’ll be better today against Seattle, but who knows with 10 days off maybe they’ll have a little pep in their steps. Will this be the week Daboll stops coaching scared? No. I don’t know what has flipped in him that he is so much more conservative in his play calling than previous years. Maybe it’s because he ...

Hot take alert!!

Playoffs?! Playoffs?! Obviously I’m joking… but maayyybee?? Why not? What if we beat the Cowboys Thursday night and then have 10 days to prepare for the Seahawks. Sometimes you just have to believe in your team to do what’s right and there is nothing this Giants team has done to earn this type of behavior from me, but damn it feels good to win. The defense showed up and never relented pressure of Watson. They did exactly what was necessary to win. And did you see Malik??? He is a stud absolute certified stud. While Malik continues to own DBs, Singletary is quietly having a good start to the year. He’s just a good runner and is always seemingly doing the right things. I WILL not bring up the fumbles, this is a happy space today, but these need to stop immediately. Someones gotta make the playoffs, why not us?

Positive Vibes Only

I’ve decided there are too many negatives being focused on after this weeks game. I’m not going to mention the once again poor game calling by the offense, or not be able to get off the field on defense on 3rd and long situations, or even the fact there were 52 active players on the roster which 53 could’ve been used for a backup kicker since the starting kicker already had a known lower body injury. No, not today, today is positive vibes only. I think Daniel Jones was able to shake off some rust and getting the ball to Nabers as much as he did is going to be crucial going forward. Nabers is definitely going to live up to the hype and will be a great WR1. Would be cool to see Hyatt line up on the other side to have dual deep threats, but hey baby steps. Devin Singletary is also a nice bright spot. He can extend plays and is making nice cuts to get good extra yards. Behind this beefed up Oline it’s nice to see a legitimate run game. This year is going to have to be picking out these bri...

DJ is bad, but Brian Daboll is worse

I just can’t help, but wonder if Brain Daboll is the biggest problem for the NY Giants. Don’t get me wrong DJ is definitely bad and needs to be gone ASAP, but I’m pretty sure Daboll might be worse. This guy is supposed to be an offensive guru, qb whisperer, drop your pants and put your Da-Balls on the table kind of coach and he decides to call two QB runs inside the 10 yard line with a guy coming back from an ACL??? Maybe it was just first game rust and they’ll be an offensive powerhouse going forward while Saquan is stuck pushing someone’s tush in Philly as his main role… I’m still not over him leaving, it’s a grieving process Daboll needs to put together better game plans that include the number 6 pick in the draft and choose a damn punt returner that’s not linked to an important offensive or defensive position.  Washington is usually a get right game for the Giants and I truly do want both Daboll and Jones to be better. What’s better than winning meaningless games to keep u...
